I’m 34 years old and I’ve been writing copy full-time freelance for 8 years.
I’ve also worked in sales and in marketing, and that experience has given me a thorough understanding of the psychology of communication and what drives people to buy. As a content strategist, that’s of huge benefit to me.
I’ve worked in the magazine publishing industry and in graphic design. I know the nuts and bolts of putting marketing communication together. And that means I work efficiently as part of a team.
I’ve written lots of web content, and advertising copy, I’ve ghost-written several books, I’ve written marketing workbooks, a book on SEO, press releases, news articles, direct-mail sales letters, telesales scripts, a novel, two stage plays, and a humour column.
